Hello and Happy Spring!
It has been a long winter here in the northeast and I am ready for spring. As with all things business (and healthcare) the new year came with changes! If you saw on Instagram this week I reviewed insurance billing. Well, as things would have it one of the insurances I take has changed the company they use for payments and ERAs which should be simple, fill out new paperwork and move on. But as we know nothing is ever simple after 6 weeks of receiving virtual cards and signing up for the wrong system, then figuring out the corr xr website but it not loading? (Turns out needed to use my Mac?) I have solved it! These types of things would make me so stressed and anxious when I first started my practice now I just feel like I won a marathon when I complete these ridiculous tasks. It's not worth being stressed over, because you'll figure it out eventually.
Other than this hiccup the year has been going smoothly for my practice, no issues with billing, getting steady referrals - so far this year 34, I did not take all of them as my schedule is fairly full and I am only taking referrals from colleagues currently.
It's also time to start planning my next vacation. Last year my husband and I did not take a vacation π between building a house (delays and more delays), deaths in the family, and health stuff it just didn't happen. Now however we are going to start making up for lost time. Bahamas in November and Europe next spring!
I am working on the Sustainable Private Practice course which will be coming out this spring! I would love to hear how I can help you build your private practice!
Until next monthπ₯
